Racing Green Cars have developed standard and over size bearings for the Jaguar 4.0 litre V8 engine as fitted to the XKR, XK8 and all other V8 engined models since 1996. Bearings for this engine have only been available from Jaguar in standard sizes and bearing failure would typically require a new crankshaft, often in short supply. Now with the over size bearings available only from Racing Green the crankshaft can be reground and reused allowing for significant cost savings over the purchase of a crankshaft from Jaguar. These bearings are supplied in main and big end bearing sets and are manufactured from aluminium tin as per the original bearings. Available in standard and 0.25mm, 0.50mm, 0.75mm and 1.00mm oversizes even a badly damaged crankshaft can now be reclaimed.
